MISS AMERICA

Patsy at her peak of popularity. Excellent artwork during this period covers the fact that the writing is starting to go downhill. Say what you will about Al Jaffee, Stan Lee, or Paul S. Newman, but for me the most well written Walker family tales were done by the anonymous and uncredited writers who did the very earliest stories.
Also of note during this period is the massive amount of fashion designs sent in by the readers.
