Sunday Funnies: POPEYE
Popeye is one of those characters that everybody knows about, yet so few really know about. Sure, we've all seen the cartoons and tons of merchandise (which includes his own brand of spinach), but I think a lot of people miss the fact that at one time he was an awesome character.
Since there are dozens of other fan sites that you can get information from, I won't bog this down with too much commentary. Instead, I'll just let you enjoy these early Sunday pages, which are from one of his earliest comic book collections.
