FATMAN, THE HUMAN FLYING SAUCER
Like they say, "Two out of three ain't bad". That sums up this selection perfectly, for it contains two of the three main ingredients of the Captain Marvel Success Formula™ (the third being ol' Cap himself).
No longer able to work directly with the character they loved, the creators of the 'Big Red Cheese' revamped him slightly in the late 60s and came up with this character, FATMAN THE HUMAN FLYING SAUCER. It lasted only a mere three issues, proving once and for all that the 'golden age of comics' was truly over. What sold in '47 just didn't cut it in '67, but anyone who loves the original Marvel Family stories is sure to like this, as Fatman could easily be one of the long lost Lieutenant Marvels.
Enjoy!
