Unlike Patsy and Hedy who were always fighting over Buzz Baxter as well as chasing after every other cute boy in Centreville, Nancy was always content to stick with just the one boyfriend. And Nancy was never as superficial as either of the other two, as Tubs was by no means the cutest or strongest boy in town. But he was reliable and faithful to Nancy, which I would imagine should count for something.
