LEARN FRENCH WITH WONDER WOMAN

This free mini comic was packaged with Honeycomb and Sugar Crisp (mmmm! Sugar Crisp) cereals for the Canadian market.
The most interesting thing about this one is that it's bilingual (English + French).

INTERESTING TRIVIA: Canadian Wonder Woman lives in outer space.
Also worth noting in the first panel, following the line of sight from WW's gaze: she's not even looking at the earth, and her squinting like that makes a sort of double entendre of "high above the earth".

  1. I suspect that Wonder Woman DOESN'T "live in outer space" but is serving "monitor duty" in the then-current JLA satelite. In the U.S. in 1980 and 1981 Post Cereals released two sets of four DC mini-comics, each set featuring comics for Superman, Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, and "Super Heroes" (a team-up of Aquaman and the other four heroes). Some of the artwork was pretty good (the first Superman comic was drawn by Ross Andru). If you ever find any of them, I'd love to see you post (pardon the pun) them.
    Thanks for sharing./Merci beaucoup.
