Stone Age Astronomy

No, the dragon from the above image is not in this story, it's just from the same issue. I just used it to illustrate a point. The artists who worked on the Dell/Gold Key/Whitman comics were amazing at being able to draw realistic scenes, yet horrible at depicting any believable monsters or aliens. That sort of always bugged me. I mean, I know these comics were for kids and they didn't want to give 'em nightmares, but sheesh, it looks like cartoons invaded our reality.

Anyhoo, enough ranting. The story today is one of those "based on true events" type things. If you watch any of those shows about ancient alien theory, you've probly heard this before.
