Sunday Funnies: HEATHCLIFF

img

Garfield is lazy; Heathcliff is untiring. Garfield barely beats Odie and Nermal; Heathcliff kicks every other animals asses. Garfield steals lasagna from Jon; Heathcliff steals raw fish, steaks, and milk from everybody in the neighborhood. Basically, Heathcliff is an alpha cat; Garfield is not even in the alphabet. It's a classic case of underachiever vs overachiever.
But it's that time of year when we think of "peace on earth and good will towards men". So we won't pick on Garfield too much more. Instead, take a lesson from Heathcliff and help your fellow man cat.

HEATHCLIFF CHRISTMAS

img

George Gately's Heathcliff is a character that just about everyone should be familiar with. He's starred in three cartoon series, has a daily newspaper strip, and had a successful run of comics with Marvel's S*T*A*R Comics line that outlasted the imprint itself. Not bad for a character who seems doomed to forever lurk in Garfield's shadow as "the other fat orange cat".
At least Heathcliff doesn't get on my nerves as much as Garfield does.
