HIGH TIMES is a magazine that originally celebrated all aspects of the counter-culture, but in recent years has shifted to focus almost exclusively on the legalization of marijuana.
Alternative lifestyles may or may not be of interest to fans of sequential art, but some of the earliest issues are worth tracking down. Within the back pages are the earliest works of (now legendary) cartoonists such as: Art Spiegelman, Bill Griffith, R. Crumb, Gilbert Shelton, Vaughn Bode, and the woman whose work we're looking at today.
By Trina Robbins.
