UGH! That ending.
So Brainiac makes a freaky sex robot of Supergirl and she's just totally cool with it? And she kisses him in the last panel? Really? Who in their right mind thought this was an acceptable ending?
If anything, the whole freaky robot thing should have been the real reason why Kara quit the Legion.
Brainiac 5, kid, you got some serious issues.

SUPERMAN 150

You take it for granted nowadays that when a comic title reaches a certain milestone issue number (25, 50, 75, 100, etc.) that there will be some kind of special story or event to celebrate. This was not always the case in the earlier days of comics publishing, but for the 150th issue of Superman, they did print a special story of sorts. This story reveals the origins of the three main characters (at the time) of the series via flashbacks related to the main story.
Also of note here are the brief cameos of the Bizarros of Bizarro World, who were becoming quite popular during this period.

By Jerry Siegel and Al Plastino.
