One Too Many Dates
In this adventure, our girl Patsy learns a little bit about burning the candle at both ends; with the usual comedic results. It's the lead story from the issue it's taken from, which comes from the period when Atlas Comics was using fully painted covers for it's girl comics.

CINCO DE MAYO
Here's a story you probably never knew existed. It's one of the 40+ SpiderMan adventures hecho en Mexico for LA PRENSA Publications in the early 70s. None of these have ever been reprinted here in the U.S., and I seriously doubt that they ever will.
Whether you can read Spanish or not, this is still quite enjoyable to glance through. if nothing else, you get a chance to see how our homegrown characters get treated in other countries. Also of note here is that the robot in the story seems to be modeled after a child's toy.

Sunday Funnies: CALVIN AND HOBBES
CALVIN AND HOBBES was a daily comic strip that ran from 1985-1995 in newspapers worldwide. Over the course of it's brief ten year run, it received much critical acclaim; with some fans even ranking it as one of the greatest of all times.
Very little extraneous merchandising was made with the characters, as Watterson claimed that it would dilute the characters. While there were no cartoons or toys featuring the duo, a few comic stories were done of them and published in several of the collections of strips printed by Andrews McMeel.
By Bill Watterson.
