Too Scary For You

Slimer000

Just look at that evil ghost in the picture above. I dare you. That's the stuff of nightmares right there. That's the type of thing that'll make a sane man mad and a madman claw his eyes out in despair. Those horrible eyes. The glowing translucent skin. The slimy, slobbering tongue. Yes, this comic is too scary for you. I suggest clicking on another website altogether. Now.

Still here? Last chance to run right now.........

Weird War Tale

Elopement000

Some things you don't see much of nowadays; war comics for starters, and even rarer, war comics written and drawn by legendary talents.
Lansdale is an award-winning novelist and short story writer, while Glanzman has as much history illustrating comics as five other artists put together.
Click on their names for more info, but first have a look at this:

Quite an interesting little genre-bender there, I thought. Not just a simple war story at all, it managed to work in a little romance and supernatural horror as well. Too bad that we don't see such well crafted short pieces very often. I seriously believe that most of the current hacks in the industry can't write any story that takes up less than twenty issues. They could learn from this.
Just my opinion, take it or leave it, folks.

Sunday Funnies: LIO (with commentary)

Lio000

Mosters! Aliens! Robots! Creepy crawling things that go bump in the night! Sounds like the Halloween season is here, right? Well, actually, it's always like that when Lio is around. And I love the strip because of that.
This sampling of comics is from a mega-collection of Lio strips with artist commentary, a format I prefer to just simple reprinted strip collections. I've included the commentary content with the strips that have them.
Enjoy!

Aliens VS Predator VS Dracula

img0

Y'all like a little humor mixed in with your horror? I hope so, 'cause that's what you're getting this time around.
The premise here is simple: the 'classic' Universal monsters are out to destroy the Aliens and Predator.
