Sunday Funnies: THE FAR SIDE

The Far Side was a popular comic created by Gary Larson, which ran from 1980-1995. Its surrealistic humor was it's most popular attraction. Larson's frequent use of animals and nature in the comics was one of the main reasons it was so popular.

One of the reasons that THE FAR SIDE was unique, was that the collected editions contained 'altered' art that was previously unavailable. All of Gary Larson's art was done in black and white (even the Sunday strips from the latter half of the series were colored by someone else).

Sadly, the internet tells us nothing about "Donna Pickert-Korris", but her work on these recolored strips tells us all we need to know.
